I am a sewing MACHINE! Baby. Baby. Baby.

There must be something in the water that's causing everyone to have babies. One of my friends had a sweet little girl in April. I made this dress and headband for her. It's another pattern from my favorite (and only) sewing book "One Yard Wonders." I added the ruffle on the bottom.

Another friend had surprise twin boys 3 weeks ago! Crazy!!! There weren't any baby boy clothes in "One Yard Wonders" so I cut out the ties and sewed them on some onesies. Then I found some name tags online, put some text on them and printed them on iron-on transfer paper.

Hopefully they like them and hopefully they still fit by the time I get them sent.

  1. Love the onesies with personalized ties and name tags. Was that your idea or did you see it in a book?

  3. Thanks! Well I saw an iron on tie at the store but it was like $6 and I thought it looked easy enough to make. The name tags I just thought would be cute, I'm sure it's been done before.
